What Do You Think of Helen Mirren’s Golden Globes Gown?

Getting dressed for the red carpet can be daunting for anyone, but just as in her much-nominated roles, Helen Mirren makes it look so easy. We thought that the double Globes winner looked fabulous in her custom-made Donna Karan gown at the awards show, but other blogs have been buzzing about a sixty-one-year old showing off that much cleavage. We thought she looked sexy and comfortable in her own skin, but tell us: What do you think of Helen’s Globes gown? Is it appropriate or too much for a sixty-something?

I thought she looked very classic and beautiful :)

If you’ve still got it, why not show it off a little. Not every woman her age should go with a neckline that low, but she appears to be very fit and her skin looks great. Love the dress. She looks beautiful.

classy…stunning…gorgeous…
she put much much younger women to shame that night.
i can’t wait to see what she wears for the rest of the upcoming award shows!

Vanessa

She looks better than the much younger woman standing behind her! I hope I can wear, and look as good as her in her gown, when I reach her age.

Jordan

I think more attention show be paid to the woman on the right! Did security actually let her pass on to the red carpet?

she looks amazing!!! The dress looks amazing on her, then why not wear it?? She’s not too “old”, because too old is when you have nothing to show off.

Dragonfly

She looked divine. Very appropriate for her age and the event. Unlike some other starlets’ attempts to attract attention by wearing very revealing attire, she looks very comfortable in her skin and was a perfect example of sexy and tasteful combined.

Chrissy

Absolutely lovely! So glamorous!

Allison

She looks GORGEOUS!

Meg

I thought that she was hands down the best dressed woman of the night at the Globes. Absolutely stunning (for a woman of any age!)
