Fight Off Winter Colds… With Lipgloss!

Airborne, check. Emergen-C, check. Anything that I can take in the hopes of avoiding getting sick this winter, I’ve tried. And my most recent discovery has been Inside Out lipgloss, a collaboration between ultra-cute makeup line Tarte and Borba Neutraceuticals (my addiction to their gummies is another post all together). Not only do the glosses impart non-sticky shine and a great pomegranate flavor, but they contain a range of good-for-you extracts (green tea, chamomile) and vitamins (C,E,K) to keep you going. Not making any promises of lasting good health, but no colds for me — knock on wood! The glosses come in three sheer colors — pale pink Om, hot pink Apple-a-day, and beige Liquid Sunshine — and are $21 at sephora.com. — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

I would not wear that kind I wear juicy tubes by lancome

jessie

are you kidding i dont think that that stuff even works

Tina

Though the lipgloss may not do what it claims but the colors are gorgeous. I generally wear loreal color juice gloss or Victoria’s Secret glosses, however, I would certainly give these a try.

not a big lipgloss girl but might have to give it a test and see how it lasts on my lips and like the idea that it is non-sticky and has vitamin c and green tea flavors.

Alex

I think it’s a cute idea, and the colors are gorgeous. I’d give it a try.

the look very good to try but i like the liquid ones. now dont get me wrong, it’s not the worst lipgloss ive seen and it has a nice price.

Like the colours but I wouldn’t wear them. I really don’t think they’d fight the fridget cold temps up here in Canada. It’s been sickly cold lately! So to my fellow Canadians, stay warm and keep your pipes warm too! My kitchen and laundry pipes froze once already.

I wouldn’t spend $21 on lip gloss, even if it has potential healing powers. I absolutely love Victoria’s Secret lip gloss! Yummy, pretty, and only $7.

I bought some of this. It has the best scent ever and a little extra spark with the vitamins. Hey, why not….it can’t hurt.
