Shop for a Cause: Couture for Cancer

Couture for Cancer is a non-profit organization that donates custom-made non-surgical hair replacement systems completely free of charge to any person suffering hair loss due to cancer and chemotherapy treatments. The charity was founded by Palm Beach Hair Replacement specialist Mario Mazza, who started giving free hair replacement systems in his salon to local cancer patients four years ago. He is taking his cause public with the creation of the Atype Couture line, a T-shirt and product line that gives 100 percent of its profits to the cause. With its public launch, Mario is now able to send wigs to cancer patients worldwide. Help out this great cause by buying a products like this digitally controlled straight iron/ curling iron (left), $160, or one of his graphic T-shirts like the “I Love My Hairdresser…” shirt, $20. 100% for a cause how wonderful it’s about time a company do that. I would buy anything this man has to offer before anyone else.

That’s awesome! One-hundred percent is great and it’s a great cause.

$160 for a flat iron? It’s great to see that the proceeds go to charity, but perhaps more people would be able to donate if they could afford to do so. I sometimes wonder where the heck people on this site get their extensive cash flow from.
