Just the thought of piling on a mask of makeup combined with a separate sunblock each day (it is summer, after all!) is enough to make anyone cringe. Enter tinted moisturizers with SPF! Perfect for everyday use, the newest formulas are true multi-taskers: if dry skin plagues you, Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture SPF 15, $37, has lactic acid to keep skin hydrated and stimulate cell renewal. If wrinkles are your issue, go for Cover Girl CG Smoothers SPF 15 Tinted Moisture, $7, which contains glycerin to smooth the skin’s surface. For something super high-tech, try Prescriptives Traceless Skin Responsive Tint SPF 8, $33, which has light-reflecting prisms that neutralize skin’s appearance and mask flaws. And Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20, $40, is a longtime favorite — it contains a combination of antioxidants and vitamins that protect skin from environmental hazards. But, if you’re headed for a day on the beach or outside activities, you might want to switch to a heavy SPF of 30 or higher.
