What Do You Think of Joel Madden’s Two-Tone ‘Do?

There seems to be a two-toned hair trend emerging among hipster guy celebs — at least by the looks of Joel Madden’s new skunk-striped hair! The tattooed rocker emerged from the Neil George Salon, hand in hand with girlfriend (and salon regular) Nicole Richie on Monday with a distinct black and white hairstyle. Nicole’s colorist Tracey Cunningham of Neil George did the new look and tells PEOPLE that it was all Joel’s idea! “He told me what he wanted. It was all his idea. He just directed me and told me what he wanted. It was already cut that way and so we bleached the side and put black on the top.” Ah, a man who knows what he wants! Tell us: What do you think of Joel’s new two-tone ‘do? Love it or hate it?
