Sarah Jessica Parker first joined the fragrance market with Lovely, a sweet scent that combined lavender, orchid, apple and amber into a light and flirty musk. Now the recently turned designer has introduced Covet — which is a fragrance opposite of Lovely. Though still ultra feminine, Covet has a more seductive edge. Blending chocolate, magnolia and amber musks this scent starts off very heavy but fades into a more burnt musk. Lovely is my favorite fragrance. But as soon as I smelled Covet, I knew it didn’t live up to Lovely. The fragrance is too strong and it immediatly gave me a headache. The bottle for Covet is beautiful but the fragrance, not so much.

I love Covet!! I was not a big fan of Lovely, so I am glad that Covet is wonderful! I guess that’s why they are so different…to please everyone! SJP…you rock!! xoxo

SJP’s Lovely perfume is a favorite of mine. I heard everyone talking about how great it smelt, and they were right. I haven’t gotten to smell her new perfume Covet yet, which I will, but I do love her new commercial ad for the perfume.

I love Lovely! First saw it when she was a guest at Oprah show.First time I smelled it, I fell in love and still loving it. Here in Netherlands it is quite popular. My husband just got back from Orlando and he bought me a big box of Lovely with shower gel and lotion…oooooh so lovely…..
