Amanda Bynes Celebrates Her New Line!

As if starring in hit movies like Hairspray isn’t enough, Amanda Bynes can now count designer on her jam-packed resume. And she’s only 21-years old! At last night’s launch of her line Dear by Amanda Bynes at Manhattan’s chic SushiSamba 7 restaurant, Amanda told PEOPLE that she couldn’t be more excited to team up with Steve & Barry’s, the nationwide chain that recently launched Bitten, Sarah Jessica Parker’s clothing line. And the best part is, like Bitten, all pieces of the Dear by Amanda Bynes collection cost $19.98 or less. It’s almost too much for the young star to take in. “I, like, blacked out through the first part of this party! I can’t believe I am here doing this,” said the star, who wore a short, black racer-back Dear dress. “I’m all about Steve & Barry’s, and I am so excited.” The collection also includes jewelry. Amanda showed off her necklace, bracelet and cocktail ring to PEOPLE, enthusing “It’s all solid. Feel it? It’s really heavy. I like when jewelry is actually heavy. It is actually nice stuff. It’s so surreal!” Mark your calendars — Amanda’s line hits stores August 16.

This dress is so short it’s impractical. It would be impossible to sit down in without exposing your bare butt on your chair.

The clothes from her line are cute and affordable. Its a little young for my taste, but the clothes would look great on a teen with a budget.

Amanda is really cute here, too bad she can’t add a couple of harmless inches to her dress. She looks really fit I have to say, this is a good size hopefully she doesn’t go too far in thinning down!
