Wearable Trend Alert: Black Shirtdresses

INF; Pacific Coast News(2)

You can never have too many little black dresses. And right now, we are loving shirtdresses. Not only do they easily transition from work to play, but more importantly for this time of year, they move effortlessly from summer to fall. Just add a cardigan and you’re set for the chillier weather ahead. In the meantime, get an easy piece like Liv Tyler, Paris Hilton and Katherine Heigl. Here are a few of our favorites.

Isaac Mizrahi for Target shirtdress, $35 at target.com

Ruby Rox Ruffle-Front Belted Shirt Dress, $60 at macys.com

Full Skirt Belted Shirtdress, $79 at anntaylorloft.com

Nexx Stretch Cotton Shirtdress, $88 at nordstrom.com

Slim Fit “Dotted Swiss” Shirtdress, $204 (from $240) at rebeccaanddrew.com

Love these little black dresses. Paris has the best one so far . She also has it in brown. Don’t really like LIv Tyler.

MELISSA

oh my gosh i love the dress paris is wearing!
where did she get it from!?

Cheryl

Hate to admit it, but Paris looks the best…drats! lol

Amy

Another great black shirtdress is from Sarah Jessica Parker’s Bitten Line. I purchased and I love it, especially for less than $20.00.

I love love love these dresses!!….and I agree that Paris looks the best—very classy—she should always dress like this:)….
….and I agree Amy—-SJP’s Bitten line is wonderful—I have the same dress you do, and I love it! especially for under $20!…..

I like Katherines’ the best.
Liv Tyler looks horrible.
The only thing that sucks is they wrinkle very quickly.

Brenda

I have a buddy who bought a black shirtdress from rebeccaanddrew and it’s totally cool (Love their fitted shirts, too!)

lydia

paris does look really cute in her dress, would i wear? yeah i would.

Mary

I do love Paris’s dress. Actually the worst thing about black cotton dresses is that they catch dust very easily, so you always gotta have those lint rollers on hand.

Jenna

THe only one i would wear is Paris’s dress.
