Would You Wear Jessica Alba’s Kneesocks over Tights?

Jason La Veris/FilmMagic

Jessica Alba has firmly established herself as a well-dressed star — from glam turns on the red carpet to casual chic in her off-time, the actress usually nails it. But her outfit at a Natural History Museum party this weekend (with boyfriend Cash Warren) left us more than a little confused. Her hair and makeup look great, and her Juicy Couture coat is adorable. . .but taupe knee-socks over black tights with mary-jane heels? We’re all for layering, but this seems a little off-base to us. We want to know what you think! Tell us: What do you think of Jessica’s layered hosiery? Would you ever wear kneesocks over tights?

I wonder why not.

Hmmm… I think Jessica Alba is just one of those people who can make anything work. While the idea freaks me out, she actually looks kind of cute and playful…but you know if her legs were any heavier she’s look like one of those crazy gothic chicks trying to “rebel” against their parents by wearing the weirdest combination of cloths possible.

umm…no.

Yuck!

Katie

I Think they look pretty darn cute on her, and i think i would definetly wear them!

Rose

Jessica looks amazing in whatever she wears. Knee-socks over tights is a great idea. We don’t need to freeze ourselves when we wear skirts in the winter.

Erin

I totally would. This is a fresh look, in a world of black opaques this season!

40 Forever

Maybe 20 years ago! I think this look is definitely for the young.

Ally

This is very Prada-ish and the height of high fashion. I give her kudos for taking risks but I’m not sure this look entirely works. However, she’s a gorgeous girl and could look good in a paper sack!

Lisa Devine

Jessica Alba’s knee socks over tights:”Awful, awful, awful!”.
