The Scoop On Madonna’s Dolce & Gabbana Costumes

Frank Micelotta/Getty

The Spice Girls and Jennifer Lopez may have chosen Roberto Cavalli for their costumes, but Madonna’s return to the stage costumes are custom-made Dolce & Gabbana. The Queen of Pop sported a a black satin tailcoat with pink lining to open her one-night only Roseland show, only to shed it for a black lace top with puff sleeves. Madge continued the show in sexy corset tops and a black nylon vest with “Hard Candy” written in Swarovski crystals. Even Justin Timberlake got into the act, wearing Dolce & Gabbana for their “4 Minutes to Save the World” duet. Expect to see the custom-made pieces for her London and Paris performances, if you haven’t already seen them on the cover of the Hard Candy CD, in the “4 Minutes to Save the World” music video and the cover of Vanity Fair. We think Madge’s Dolce & Gabbana looks are fierce! Tell us: What do you think or her custom-made costumes?

Who designed the purple dress that Eva Longoria is wearing in the Look for Less section?

Jonathan Bodack

Madonna’s costumes are nice, etc.

tina

If I look half that good at her age, I’ll be happy

Tina

Madonna is a class act and why should she settle for anything less than the best. Her costumes are always original, fabulous, and sexy too!

Dena

I don’t get it. Am I the only person who thinks Madonna’s hair looks like crap 95% of the time. This is actually a good look for her, usually it is a lot worse. I see she has an advertising contract with hair shampoo, but her hair usually looks terrible.

Leslie

I think she looks rediculous!

Charlotte

Dolce & Gabbana is an awesome design brand and it fits her style and image. She rocks.

erin

i just think madonna is hideous
and she’s wayyyyy to old to wear half the stuff she wears.
no one wants to see a 50 year old wearing some of the stuff she does.

Cathy

Love & appreciate Madonna’s music & talent, but do think she looks a little silly. She seems to be trying to hard to fit in and keep current. I think her hair looks best when it is more of a natural shade of blonde or brown. Wonder how she’ll be strutting her stuff when she’s in her 60s and 70s? Can’t knock her for her ability to stay in the game.

Sal

The costumes are kinda funky and edgy, her talent is amazing!! She’s already a legend in my book!
